how much gn out of 64 do i need to install ios17

i want to know how much gigabites i need for the installation of ios17?

I currently have 59.6 Gb out of 64 Gb but it doesn’t seem to be enough.

When I connect to my MacBook Air. it's popped up to download and install software update on my iPhone 15 Pro. I Just wondering the latest software update is 8.28GB. Is this normal? can someone answer me please?

Uploading new software releases when space has run out I don’t have enough storage to upload the latest software update. Most of my 32GB storage is taken up by the IOS and Apps which I need to use. I’ve tried linking to a PC but that doesn’t work. Are there any other suggestions ? The upgrade needs 5GB which seems a ridiculously large amount which there is no way I can find.

If you have 59.6 GB available, that's not the problem. You'd need 8-10GB to install iOS 17.
