How do I keep alpine loop clean

Apple support's opnline article: How to clean your Apple Watch - Apple Support

says:

"For Solo Loop, Braided Solo Loop, Sport Band, Sport Loop, Ocean Band, Alpine Loop, and Trail Loop:

1. Wipe the band clean with a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth.
2. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with fresh water.
3. With these bands, you can also use mild hypoallergenic hand soap for cleaning."

Wondering if you read through the tips from other Alpine band users in the discussion thread above. (The final link in the post) Eg: One individual there found a way that worked out happily for that user, yet I don't know how safe that may be for the band in the long run. Cheers!

Thank you kindly for replying ... sorry ... there is nothing else that I know of that is safe to try. Maybe a different band would be more suitable for your environment.
