Kernel panic - Macbook Pro "Restarted because of a Problem" every night

Laptop = 2018 Macbook Pro 15" (2.6 Ghz 6-Core Intel Core i7)

OS = Ventura 13.6

I have been using this mac with two external Dell monitors run by a ioGear USB-C - To - 2 x Displayports without an issue since year 2018. Thats it, no other wired peripherals except power supply.

Every night, I let mac go to sleep. Since last 3 weeks my macbook has begun to restart in the middle of the night and in the morning presents me with this dialog:

I have tried the following already:

1) Removed the ioGear hub, restarted, and let it go to sleep

2) Created a new Admin account, and logged into that account and let it go to sleep

3) Reset the PRAM and SMC

4) Updated all apps (Paintbrush was the only one needing update, due to bug in previous version preventing auto-update)

5) Reinstalled MacOS 13.6 without erasing personal data

6) Made sure no items in Login Items list

7) Switched of some suspect items in "Allow to Run in Background" list

All of this, and still having same issue after each step above!!

Apple Support's agent has next asked me to do a disk backup and erase, and then do a fresh OS install (basically rebuild my Mac).

I reaching out here to see if any other tips or guidance before I embark on the Rebuild adventure.

The Panic Report is pasted here, 95% of the time, the last started Kext is BHIDKeyboard, and loaded kext is AudioAUUC.

Please advise!

This shows it is related to the GPU or Display in some manner. I would suggest disconnecting the external Displays completely (not clear if you did this since you only mentioned the IOGear hub).

More than likely it will be a hardware issue with the laptop's Logic Board. I have found the Logic Boards for these 2018-2020 models tend to have a higher rate of failure...not sure if it is due to the T2 security chip or something else (especially the 2019 models).

You can try a firmware "Revive" to see if that makes any difference. This will reset the T2 security chip and system firmware. This should not affect the data on the internal SSD, but you should make sure to have a good backup just to be safe.
