Here we go again: unable to access iCloud.

Last week I was unable to access iCloud for several hours. It was not a problem with my account, but an Apple server problem that resolved without ever appearing as an outage in System Status. When simply trying to trash an email, I receive this message: "The server returned the error: Server Busy. Please try again later" Went on for five hours last weekend and Chat Support just ran me in troubleshooting circles.

I have just been told that Apple is doing server maintenance. This went on from 12-5:30 PM MDT last weekend. At this point today, it has been happening for five hours. I have no access to email or other iCloud services. No warning. I've spent so much time troubleshooting--finally found someone who could at least discover what was happening!
