Horizontal white lines on macbook pro 2016

Hello community,

I'm using a 2016 macbook pro 15 inch with touch bar.

It has been many years and I have never experienced such an issue, horizontal white lines appear and it shakes my screen suddenly. This problem started this year. It resolves by shutting down the macbook or putting it to sleep for a few hours.

This not only happens when I multitask but can also start when I watch a movie using VLC or any other single activity.

Any ideas how to resolve it permanently ? Is this a software issue or hardware ?

regards, Viktor

It would seem a hardware... horizontal would point to GPU issue.

Your Mac may well have two GPU, and you maybe able to force it to use the Integrated GPU only
