Sonoma makes the screen on my iMac split up on my desktop

I don't know what this feature is called but I want to disable it. If I click on my desktop wallpaper, ALL of my windows that I have open splits up and gets thrown around in all sorts of directions on my screen. If I click on my desktop wallpaper again, they come back.

I didn't have this problem before I upgraded to Sonoma.

A new feature in macOS Sonoma allows you to click your desktop to temporarily move your windows out of the way and reveal the desktop.

You can follow these steps to disable the feature when you’re not using Stage Manager:

  1. Open the System Settings app
  2. Click on the Desktop & Dock menu
  3. Set “Click wallpaper to reveal desktop” to “Only in Stage Manager”
