Unable to use CarPlay in my Jeep

my iPhone 15 pro max became unsupported randomly after working for a few weeks. My phone is 2 weeks old. The USB cord works fine with my laptop. Feels like software issue. The phone will charge for a few seconds when plugged into the auxiliary usb port before the “device not supported” message appears and charging ends. So strange.

I have RAM 2500 with UConnect. Would not work with USB-A to C cable. Bought a thunderbolt to USB-C adapter and use it with my thunderbolt/USB-A cable and appears to have fixed the problem. This is I believe an Apple issue.

I have a 2020 ram .just got this phone last week and same issue ..bought a Belkin Boost Usb-Usb C cable ,theyre sold on the apple site but i bought mine on amazon last night received today and no more issues no matter what i plug it to . Hope this helps someone else 🍻

Update on my UConnect issue with iPhone 15 Pro. Turns out it’s a Stellantis (owner of Jeep, Dodge, RAM, Maserati, etc.) Big design flaw with failing units across all brands. My “Star Case” (required acknowledgment by Stellantis of defect they will replace) was approved two weeks ago. ETA of UConnect head unit expected in another two weeks. Takes this long because so many are failing.

Same here any knowledge on the cause and fix?

works fine on my Uconnect 5 system, 2023 Ram 1500, with a wireless connection

from iphone settings select General - CarPlay - Uconnect-XXXXXX -CarPlay ( turn on slider)

How did you get them to replace this

I the functionality returned with no clear cause as to what fixed the problem.
