Verify you shut down & restart the Mac more than once after your upgrade.
Try making some changes...and compare your results.

Yes.
Re-start seems to have solved it.
Yellow screen shows up instead of Sonoma screen saver, randomly. Settings seem to be OK
How do you select Sonoma instead of Ventura for screensaver settings?
Restarting solved the problem temporary. After 3 days the yellow screen was back.
