The 17 doesn’t work with my phone and I didn’t want the update at all

Your profile shows that you have an iPhone 6s. Your iPhone 6s can be updated to iOS 15.7.9.

which update do you have and do not want anymore? Also note that downgrading iOS is not supported by Apple.
