I recently updated my Macbook and after updating, the Garageband AU Multiband Compressor UI is not displaying properly. I have reinstalled the sound library, as well as Garageband itself and still no luck. It seems that all other plugins function normally, but this plugin's UI specifically is not working properly.

I have a similar problem with AU Multiband Compressor when using it with Final Cut Pro. It is my go to compressor when mastering the sound tracks.
After adding it to a clip, pressing the icon next to its name to bring up the graphic adjustment window crash quits FCPX every time. It worked until I upgraded to Sonoma.
I have sent a bug report to Apple because I really need this effect - I'm sure there are other similar effects, but I have all my presets for this particular effect and know it like the back of my hand so don't have to think.
If anyone hears of a fix, please shout. If I hear anything back from Apple I'll update.

I was wondering if you heard anything back with the bug report. I found I can’t use this on my new m1 laptop. Kind of frustrating since this cleaned up a lot of my mixes as my final mastering piece.
i might give logic developers a call tomorrow and see what the deal is because it’s the only one not working .

Hi, this has still not resolved and I've found no way to fix it. The UI also sometimes appears like this. I have Rosetta installed and run Garageband through it but still can't get it to work. Can someone please help? I use this plugin for a lot of instruments and it's frustrating not being able to anymore. Thanks
I have the same problem. Have reinstalled GarageBand and its the same. Multiband dosent work anymore. “Rosetta” is comming up.
This happend after MacOS latest Update.
I'm having the same problem with AUMultibandCompressor while using TwistedWave. I hope Apple comes up with a fix soon.
Same thing here in LogicPro X. Lost the ''Editor'' view. It got replaced with something called RemoteView which is useless.
Happened when I upgraded to Sonoma. So I figured it would get fixed when Logic put out 10.8 - No such luck.
It's probably the plug-in I use the most. :-(
the control editor is not quite as user friendly!!!
So, I'm gonna turn 70 in May. Any chance Apple can get it's s___t together and resolve this issue before I die?
Hi, so I found an alternative for now, the plug-in is called Cramit. It's not as good, but definitely works pretty similarly if you just tinker with it. Idk when this is gonna get fixed so just thought I'd tell you what I came up with lol
