Hi Lissy, thank you for your reply.
I’m afraid it does not address my concern. I know how to manually set a timer and choose what happens when timer ends (sound choice or music stops)
I am clearly talking about the end timer options while I’m talking on the phone using my AirPods.
BEFORE (ios16 and prior)
If I was talking on my phone using AirPods and also using a timer, when the timer ended, then the timer functions displayed on my Lock Screen. All I had to do was quickly tap STOP or REPEAT even tho phone was locked and I was still talking. The timer functions took precedence over the phone call functions because the timer had just ended and needed action.
NOW (ios17)
if I am talking on my phone using AirPods and the timer ends, the only display options on my Lock Screen are the phone call options (speaker, mute, end, etc). If I want to action the timer, then I have to
- pick up my phone
- unlock my phone
- swipe to clear the phone call options
- swipe to get to my clock app
- open the clock app, which opens on the clock display section
- select the clock timer section
This is a significant increase in manual function just to stop the timer or tap repeat. It’s ridiculous that ios17 regressed by removing the previous (almost) hands free function.
I hope developers will solve this because this is crazy.
