How to set macOS Sonoma to announce clock time at top of the hour?

Previously in macOS Big Sur, I had a workaround and got the system to announce the time at the top of the hour and also at the half hour mark.

Now, after upgrading directly to macOS Sonoma in a new Mac, everything is so different and this nice feature seems gone. It has been dumbed down. Am I missing something?

How can set my new Mac to announce, "It's ten o'clock" at 10:00, and "it's eleven o'clock" at 11:00, etc.?

Mac mini, macOS 14.0

System Settings > Control Center. Under Menu Bar Only > Clock > Clock Options… Enable "Announce the time".
