My snapchat is saying i need to allow camera access through settings and i go into the privacy and try selecting the camera but it doesn’t show up that snapchat is wanting access. i just don’t know what to do

Try resetting the privacy settings and if that doesn't work the have a look at your screentime settings. That could also be causing the issue
Any restrictions set up in the settings for Screen Time, that block changes for the use of the camera by other apps?
