Money deducted from Bank Account but no active Subscription

Money got deducted from my bank account for purchase of an app subscription but subscription is not active. Apple Store also shows no active subscription and even the app.

Either I should get my money back or my Subscription should work. Why am I facing this problem?

please do not guide me about checking Apple ID etc

my Disney Hotstar subscription was due for renewal on 19 june 2024. I cancelled auto debit in Apple subscription on 18 june 2024. but my Bank account was debited for Re. 1499/ and amount sent to Apple services on 18 june itself by UPIwith bank payment refernce -RR*********189. Apple neither renewed by subscription nor refunded me the monies wrongly received by them. It amounts to deceit & fraud by Apple for holding back my monies wrongly

This could be due to a variety of reasons, that we don't know given the information in your post. We may need to know more to recommend a solution. With that said, this could be due to not canceling the subscription within the proper timeframe. As mentioned here: If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple


About subscriptions

* If you signed up for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends.


This could also be about Family Sharing, if you are the Organizer. Learn more about identifying this charge here: If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement


For more specific help, it would be best to contact Apple Support: Get Support They'll have access to account information, so they can assist further there.
