Carplay Audio Source

When I have my iPhone plugged into my truck and using carplay for music and maps, if someone else plugs in their iPhone to charge using a different charging cord, it will change to their audio or pause mine if they are changing songs. How do I keep that from happening and my music not being interrupted?

This would be determined by your vehicle, and cannot be prevented by any setting on your iPhone / CarPlay. A vehicle setting may be able to prevent this from happening.

If you have a port on your vehicle that could be used strictly for power, and not data, the passenger could use that port and wouldn’t be able to transmit audio to your vehicle. You could also purchase a USB adapter that disables data but allows charging for a USB port.
