Error -36 when trying to put files on iCloud.

After upgrading my 2019 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, I get Error -36 when I try to move or copy files to iCloud drive. I can move or copy files off iCloud drive with no problem. iCloud drive is enabled, Desktop and Documents is disabled. This is across both of my user accounts. Only happens on the one system I upgraded.

I tried every trick on the Internet for Error -36. Downgrading to Ventura from Time Machine fixed the problem.

Anyone else?

I tried:
Safe mode
• Terminal: dot_clean
• Disk Utility first aid on my SSD
• Terminal: sudo find / -name “.DS_Store” -depth -exec rm {} \
• Logout of iCloud, reboot then login to iCloud drive
• Disable iCloud drive, reboot, enable iCloud drive

As I said, I finally downgraded to Ventura and iCloud works again.

So you no longer have the issue(?) and it is resolved

Why not list every trick you have already tried if you still have the issue.

Otherwise we are reduced to playing a game of Whack-O-Mole...
