convert heic to jpg in win 11

I don't see an easy way to covert for win 11. I upgraded my phone (12 Pro) to latest iOS and it auto changed all my pics on phone to HEIC. Before this I could just move pictures easily. I have no problem with room on my phone as I move pics off when it folder gets to big. All Apple did was cause problems for me with no clear solution. What a mess!. I tried on line conversions but resulted in tiny (1 in X 1 in) pictures. Since Apple did this without warning users they should provide an easy way to fix. I have looked at forum and most solutions were for a Mac. Any Win 11 solutions I saw did not work or ended up with tiny pics. Apple, please help your customers.
