My Do not disturb is on, yet my friend do not see my do not distrurb on imessage, why?

Even thought I am on do not disturb, my friends do not see the "do not disturb message"

In settings under Focus do you have the Focus Status turned on? And if so check to make sure the particular focus you are using is toggled on for Status also

iMessage notifications silenced i went to text my friend and it said “notifications are silenced “ so I texted them and asked if they’re do not disturb was on, they replied “no?” And now I can’t get the “notifications silenced “ to go away even though they’re not on do not disturb. HELP?!?

Do Not Disturb Someone informed me that when Do Not Disturb is turned on it is displayed in my messages. Is there way to turn that off in the sense that if and when someone tries to text me they aren't informed that my Do Not Disturb is currently turned on?
