Batteries widget not showing iPad
The Battery widget on my iPhone shows the iPhone, Apple Watch, but not the iPad’s battery status. They are on the same wifi network.

Clear as mud. You should clarify that the iPad is not an accessory and that it will not display on the iPhone widget and that it is also true that the iPhone will not display on the iPad widget.
It would be nice if the capability for all battery powered Apple devices was added to the widget

ipad is an accessory for me as a wireless second monitor and drawing tablet for my mac. i should see that in mac battery widget. i think apple is just lazy.
It’s odd. my iPad used to show up on my iPhone widget but after an update a while back it stopped and I keep searching for a way to get that back. Odd that apple won’t admit that it might have been a security or other issue. I should be able to add whatever apple product I want to monitor.
None of my airtag batteries show up on the widget
Hello Norton1955,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities. This is an expected behavior as stated here:
You can also add a widget to the Home Screen to monitor the battery levels of your iPhone and connected accessories (including AirPods and other devices).
Show the iPhone battery percentage
The widget shows the battery level of the device itself (In this case your iPhone), and connected accessories. This include AirPods, AirTag, ..etc.
We hope this information is useful. Kind regards.
