iPhone 15Pro Max world clock widget on lock screen the minutes are fading and or stuck no longer keeping proper time

I have added the world clock widget to my lock screen with the time zone Frankfurt Germany selected. As soon as the clock is supposed to move ahead to the next minute the last number for the minutes display is starting to fade. When the next 10 minute increment is supposed to change that number starts to fade as well and the last number starts to disappear entirely. I have the latest iOS installed, deleted the app and re-installed, restarted the phone, but the issue persists. Unlocking the screen will reset the time display to what it should be but for as long as the screen is locked the problem remains. Anyone have any suggestions for me on how to resolve this?
