iMessage Contact Initials Changed Color?

I opened my messages today and his contact is a different color. I’m not talking about the messages, I know the difference between green and blue messages, I’m talking about the actual contact initials, where I could put a picture of him if I wanted to. It’s GREEN. It’s cool, I wanna change the rest, but I don’t even understand how his got changed? When I go in to try to change my own, it only lets me add a picture. I don’t want to add a picture, I just want to edit how my initials show up

Hello Gochnour1995,

The color of your friend's initials contact information might have been changed on their end, then shared to you. Read the section 'Change your name and photo' from this article: Use Messages on your iPhone or iPad

Your name and photo can be shared with anyone using iMessage, but you'll be asked to confirm that you want to share with someone when sending or replying to a new message. You can also turn sharing on and off. Just complete steps 1-2, and turn Name and Photo Sharing on or off.

We hope this information helps.

Best regards.
