How long is it take for iphone to iphone transferring data?

Hello there, I got a new iPhone (14 plus) and since last night I'm transferring my data from my old iPhone 8. It's been a while, at least 12 hours. My storage on my old one its 208gb and my new one its 256gb. For the last hours my Software it's been updating and that's it. This is my first data transferring data and I'm a bit worried if everything it's working properly.

Hey VerzhiniyaAleksandrova,

We'd recommend reviewing this article for the best steps to take to resolve that issue: If your iPhone or iPad gets stuck on the Apple logo when you transfer from your previous device - Apple Support

"Step 1: Restore your new iPhone or iPad with a computer

  1. Connect your new iPhone or iPad to a computer with a cable.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button. Then, press and hold the side button.
  3. Continue to hold while the Apple logo appears and don't let go until an image of a computer and cable appears.
  4. On your computer, locate your new iPhone or iPad in the Finder or in iTunes.
  5. Choose Restore when you see the option to Restore or Update.

If your device restarts while your computer downloads the software, wait for the download to complete then put your iPhone or your iPad into recovery mode again.

Step 2: Update the software on your new iPhone or iPad

  1. From the Hello screen, follow the onscreen instructions to start the setup process.
  2. Install any software update that is available during the setup process.

Step 3: Transfer your apps and data to your new iPhone or iPad

After you install the latest software update during the setup process, you can choose any method to transfer your apps and data to your new device and finish your setup:

  1. From the Hello screen, follow the onscreen instructions to start the setup process.
  2. Choose the method you prefer to transfer your apps and data. For example, transfer data from another device or transfer data from an iCloud Backup.
  3. Follow the rest of the onscreen instructions to finish the iPhone setup process."

Thanks!
