Hw to disable automatic playing of music when my headset is raised on macOS Ventura?

I use a Poly Voyager Focus on my 2019 iMac running Ventura 13.5.1. Often times when I remove the headset form the charging cradle it automatically starts apple music and starts playing songs, or sometimes unpauses a YouTube video I have paused in a Chrome (117.0.5938.132). I do not need instructions on how to manage the 'up-next' songs in Apple Music, or how to manage autoplay on my other apply devices or hand-off between my apple devices. All of that it set properly. This is strictly an issue with only my mac automatically starting audio playback when the headset is raised.

I took a third look at the Poly Lens app's 'Settings' for the headset and disabled all the sensors under POLY LENS->Voyager Focus->Settings->Sensors & Presence->Wearing Sensor (CONTROLER)->Off. That really isn't ideal as I like the auto-answer feature for video calls, but if it stops the music I'll be happy. I will follow up later today if it works.

I don't see a fix for this unless you discover it from the headset vendor.

I have Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones that when I take them off, any movie or audio (Music) will automatically pause. When I place them back on my ears, anything paused resumes. There is no setting in the Music app, or sound preferences on the Macs (Ventura 13.6/Sonoma 14.0) that controls this behavior.

On my iOS 17.0.3 iPhone 15 Pro Max, I have the current Sony Headphone Connect software, and even it does not provide any control over the pause/play scenario above when using the phone with the headphones. My Sony WF-1000XM4 ear buds behave the same way when used with the phone.

I suspect that this is a "convenience feature" built into the headset bluetooth profiles or its firmware by the respective vendor and is outside of any user settings. It communicates to the default audio tool (Apple Music) or currently playing video in the browser, as it will pause Netflix movies playing in Safari or even Firefox.
