Apps Showing as Damaged and Unable to Open

I've encountered a significant issue with many of my applications on my Macbook Pro 2021. They are displaying as "damaged" and cannot be opened. This problem is particularly prevalent with my Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and other applications that require full disk access and screen recording permissions.

What I've tried:

  • I've tried restarting my device multiple times to see if it would resolve the issue, but the problem persists.
  • I've gone to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and ensured that the necessary permissions are granted to the affected apps. Despite this, the issue remains.

Some observations:

  • The problem seems to be more pronounced with apps that require extensive permissions, such as full disk access and screen recording.
  • Other apps that do not require these permissions seem to be functioning normally.
  • I suspect that there might be an underlying permissions issue causing these apps to be recognized as "damaged."

System OS: 14.0 (23A344)

List of Affected Apps: (e.g., Snipaste, Pycharm, Edge, iTerm, WeChat etc.)
