I have a clip where the cameraman pans from left to right and it is has rolling shutter. The rolling shutter effect doesn't fix it, so I wanted to use optical flow. That option is greyed out. I then looked at the info "info" and I dont get an option to transcribe to pro res or anything. Any other options to smooth this out?
Select the clips in the browser. Right click and choose transcode. I don’t it if it will help but it may with GOP media.
Optical Flow only becomes selectable when you alter the speed of the clip. You might try slowing the clip slightly and then using Optical Flow and check the results.

What’s the exact specs of the media? It may not need optimization. Did you try stabilization?
Yes! I tried stabilization by itself... plus lots of combos w/rolling shutter effect.
Thanks Tom, I was able to transcode but optical flow is still greyed out. Trying other combos of stabilization/rolling shutter not working as well.
