Apple Watch and Two-Factor Authentication

Can anyone tell me how setting up 2FA on my iPhone will affect my Apple Watch? I use Apple Pay on my watch (and only on my watch) and want to continue to do that. I’m thinking about setting up two-factor on my iPhone but have been putting it off because I don’t want to it to mess up my watch and specifically the ability to use Apple Pay with it. Any experience with this situation is appreciated.

Hi gailfco,

Two-factor authentication would not stop or disrupt you using your Apple Watch for Apple Pay purchases. It simply is another layer of security to prevent anyone who is not you or someone you've authorized, to access your account.
