My mac says it’s connected to the internet, yet nothing loads. I have had this problem with a previous Mac before but I’m not sure what I did to fix it. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Usually I can fix this problem with a log out and log in but it gets really annoying. It’s so random too.

launch a Browser, and enter this numeric Address in the search window:
1.1.1.1
if you get the CloudFlare ** splash page, you have a DNS issue.
**CloudFlare is NOT part of the solution here, it just has THE easiest to remember all NUMERIC IP address.

It doesn't sound as if your Mac is connected to the internet. (Note that it might show WiFi connection in the menu bar, but that might mean only that it's connected to the router).

In the past, when I've had this issue, simply turning off WiFi then turning it back on has cured things.
