Posting the words "Update iOS right now" will not update your phone.

I see that you were looking at a Related Article about iOS 16.7.1. Is your iPhone compatible with iOS 16?

If you want to update from a lower version of iOS to iOS 15.8, see the Apple Support link posted earlier.

Simply download the updates from settings, if your iPhone is applicable for an update.

I'm sorry that the Apple Support article about updating your iPhone was not helpful.

Was that the problem? Or was the problem that your iPhone is not compatible with iOS 16? If it is not, that is not something that I, or any other Apple user who might try to help you on these forums, can fix.
