Siri voice in airpods changed

for some reason the voice changed on my airpods from the normal siri voice to this bot sounding voice. I’ve reset my AirPods and followed what I saw support say on a persons post who had the same problem as me.

Unfortunately it hasn’t worked.

Hey Apple!

So yes settings have been recognized. My Siri should sound like a British Male, however it sounds like Steven Hawking’s Voice Computer. Yes the setting has been messed with and have been changed to several other voices. But still sounds like a robotic computer. It was intermittent but now it seems permanent. Unfortunately I now can not hear my messages or understand them bc of the pitch and tone of the computer voice. Please send a bug fix to check for errors in aged programming.

Hi lunameyo,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. The Siri voice on your AirPods should match that which is set for the paired device. So, in this case, since you're using your iPhone with your AirPods, you can use the following steps from Change Siri voice or language - Apple Support to change it.

"On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Go to Settings > Siri & Search.

Tap Language to change the language that Siri uses for requests and responses.

Tap Siri Voice to change the voice that Siri speaks.

To hear spoken responses from Siri on your device, tap Settings > Siri & Search > Siri Responses."

All the best.
