CPU Caterr Detected - Is Safe mode is OverPower?

I'm using late 2020 macbook pro with 2.3GHz I9, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB and the latest Sonoma Release (14.0)

This morning my Macbook shut down while I was using it with my external LG monitor. When I restarted it, I found out my macbook Detected a CPU Caterr.

After that, i wasn't able anymore to use my external monitor. Then I restarted with safe mode and everything seems fine now.

Is this 'ok'? I can go to sleep happy this night or should I worry for what happened?

CPU Caterr normally indicates a hardware problem, but it can also be triggered by external devices and sometimes by software. If you had more than just your LG monitor connected, disconnect everything except the monitor and try it again. Make sure all cables are tightly plugged in at each end.
