Safari Profiles Not Shown on Ventura with Safari 17.0

I just updated to Safari 17.0 and macOS Ventura 13.6. The profiles tab is not shown in Safari Settings, but the option to "Create a Profile" is available when clicking "Safari in the menu bar when the app is in focus. It opens the Safari Settings when I click "Create a Profile", but nothing happens. What should I do?

Unless Apple added Profiles to Safari for macOS 13.6 Ventura - this I do not know any longer as running Sonoma macOS 14

The feature your reference is mentioned but applies to Safari in Sonoma macOS 14

Safari and Passwords

  • Profiles keep your browsing separate for topics like work and personal, separating your history, cookies, extensions, Tab Groups, and favorites
  • Web apps let you use any website like an app, complete with an icon in the Dock for faster access and a simplified toolbar for easier browsing
  • Enhanced Private Browsing locks your private browsing windows when you’re not using them, blocks known trackers from loading, and removes tracking that identifies you from URLs
  • Password and passkey sharing allows you to easily share accounts with trusted contacts

Sorry but can not explain the why the Profile tab is not appearing

And No, I am not being flippant or condescending

Then have a few suggestions ;

1 - Get Support Choose a product and we’ll find you the best solution.Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues .

2 - Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue

FYI and off your topic.

I am having issues in Sonoma 14.0 with Mail going Off Line even when ALL connections via Fibre Optic connections are good.

Just filed a Bug Report 🤞 for a fix
