Icons and menu items names labels keep popping up after MacOs Sonoma

I have MacBook Pro 2018. I have recently updated to MacOs Sonoma. After updating , Icon and all items keep showing labels of their names beside them. These name labels are quite distressing and sometimes obscuring the icons. they are not only appearing on the desktop, but also during browsing any window. How can I solve this problem? I don't want these labels to appear again Thanks,

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 14.0

Disable Voice Control in System Settings > Accessibility > Voice Control.

I have never seen these names with an arrow and height adjusted for readability... It's kind of neat, actually, although not when it gets in the way. It does not seem like something that is included in Sonoma.

I cannot find this functionality anywhere in System Settings - it's not in Dock nor in Accessibility.

Did you by any chance install some third party software that may be doing this?

There is one other simple test that you should try: restart your mac in Safe Mode.

Do these labels still appear while in Safe Mode? If they do, then this is some system feature that we don't know about. If they don't (as I expect), then it must be some third party software - and that Etrecheck report should help us in trying to find what it is.
