Yeah, it’s not like there aren’t straightforward rules in English to build the logic on. Capitalize words that follow punctuation and words that are proper nouns. I also get random spaces between a word and the final punctuation sometimes it doesn’t punctuate at all this happens even when double tapping the spacebar as you can see in the last couple of sentences here.

I have the same issue with randomly capitalized words Per sentence. lol. My first sentence is a good example. I have everything turned off on settings. This started happening with one of the updates. Unfortunately, Apple does not provide a solution

My version is that having typed a block of text it suddenly transforms into being uppercase and this happens routinely. I might have a paragraph of lowercase (ordinary) and then have typed most of another paragraph when it suddenly turns uppercase.

Trust me when I say, nobody at Apple is reading any of this. 😂😢

But yes, it happens to me too. And it's a pain in the *** to go back through and manually fix every randomly capitalized letter in a text.

ever since they "improved" dictation like a year and a half ago or something, my dictation function also randomly capitalizes words, but will also just omit words or even sentence fragments for no reason, especially proper names. sounds like there's no solution

Yes and in fact the names that it will not respond to for any reason whatsoever are the names in your contacts. Isn't that ironic? Apple products have gotten so buggy I don't know what to do anymore. I wish we could all just not have phones. I would like to go back to the old days, because these products don't work anymore. They're so busy slutting them up with gadgets and widgets that nothing works. And I have yet to find a company with an online presence that actually works properly so why are we even bothering with this Internet nonsense anymore?

This is getting ridiculous not only is it randomly capitalizing and adding punctuation I’m also getting random overlay of lettering and then random icons are being interjected into my Messages or text messages. It’s also continuing to change words completely at the last minute which frequently is completely changing the meaning of what I’m writing. Or as above I’m noticing combined to words that isn’t even a real word. This is an absolute disaster for Apple they need to get it together .

and so now I just reread the text and once I submitted it it corrected the one word that it had combined but then it randomly capitalized other words. I just don’t know what they’re doing at Apple. Apple used to be the leader and used to listen to customers and now it’s just like all they care about is money. Well we know they’ve only cared about money for a long time since they keep changing the phones sizes that you can’t use the same cases and they keep changing the charging port so that causes issues too.

Sad that it started such a revolutionary product and like so many other things has just become all about the almighty dollar.

Thanks for providing the feedback Link. I linked to this discussion thread and gave the bare minimum in terms of a comment. absolutely ridiculous user experience and I am days away from going back to android at great personal expense.
