Flexible Function Button
Good idea… or incorrect math? In the Numbers Toolbar (Tb) there is a "Flexible Space" cog for TB formatting. This cog sparked an idea for a user defined "Flexible Function" button (FFb). Users could assign one frequent-but-essential action to the FFb & then drag it to the Tb. The FFb could replace any 3–5 second menu selection, or 2-4 second key command, with a 1-2 second FFb click. If users FFb actions they do often in their work day, then they would save more that 2.5 hours over their 260-day work year. Multiplied across all Mac users the time saved… would be a lot.
