Sonoma install

I updated to Sonoma but I cannot get to the Agree or Submit button after scrolling through the two documents needed to fully access iCloud. Chat service has tried to help, but ended up advising to backup and doing a reinstall. I did the backup (Time Machine and external drive) but will the reinstall overwrite what's on my laptop? There has to be a glitch of some kind with Sonoma.

The few times I've seen this I just hit the enter key and the process continued.


Many times the default response (highlighted button) is to continue, so even if you can't see the button, pressing Enter/Return will work.


If the default is to cancel ... no harm; no foul.
