MacOS Sonoma widget cannot be moved or removed.

The guide says I can drag a widget to anywhere on my desktop.

So I dragged the clock widget to my desktop. It has installed itself in the top left-hand corner of my main monitor. That's not where I want it.

I can't drag it to anywhere else. when I try to drag it I can it move diagonally about 1cm, no more, in the direction of bottom right. But as soon as I release the mouse button the clock leaps back to its original position in the top left hand corner.

I can't delete the clock now. Right-click and selecting Remove Widget does nothing. Nor does Right-Click and Edit widgets.

Double clicking the clock brings up the World Clock App but there is no way to control, move, close, or remove the clock widget via that App. Clicking on File-Close simply closes the world Clock App but does not get rid of the clock widget.

The clock widget now seems to be permanently stuck in the top left hand corner of my screen and I can't seem to do anything to get rid of it.

I'll try a restart of the iMac Pro. Maybe that will help.

Had the same problem. When using right click and arrow keys it's possible to navigate to the 'remove widget' + press enter. That did it for me.
