I used to be able to drag and drop document into files on my MacBook Pro desktop and after the update it now won't work? I have tried changing the settings and nothing seems to work...
I found this in Settings:
Accessibility > Trackpad options > Use trackpad for dragging
Before that I was able only to drag folders or files if they were shown as icons in Finder. So that works too.

Check file format, it used to be mps & 4, then they changed it to .wav. Not sure if that is still the case

Yes, it is. I was a Strike WSO quite a while ago. Her patches are strange to me, though. Wish her “good hunting” for me.
Pressing option will copy the file when you drag and drop.

I believe in 15 onward (As of Dec 30, 2024) that you can quit with CMD+Q and it's persistent.

I don't see a "Force Click and haptic feedback" in the trackpad settings for Sonoma.
