I have exactly the same problem... I don't receive any gmail notification on my iPhone (via gmail app). But it doesn't happen with my iPad.

I noticed this problem like 2 weeks ago. I checked on my iPhone settings/notifications, all is on... but still don't receive any.

Did u fix the problem?

Thanks in advance.

It has nothing to do with the Apple app, which DOES support push notifications. But push notifications have two ends; an app that can receive push notifications (as Apple Mail does), and a mail provider that SENDS push notifications. Gmail doesn’t send push notifications to email apps other than its own. Currently only iCloud and MS Exchange email accounts send push notifications. Gmail did at one time, but they stopped.
