Apple Watch Ultra 2 ticking (haptic) every second

Woke up to my ultra 2 ticking (haptic) like every second Or possibly with my heart beat cadence. Even more oddly, when I touch the watch with a finger or two, it can be felt, but the more pressure applied, the stronger the ticking gets, literally like its a designed haptic pulse feedback feature or something to do with that. Intensity increases noticeably and accordingly when touched with more pressure. When watch is placed up to ear to listen, I could hear the sound, like the haptic membrane faint tick pop/noise. Went and made coffee, sat down to drink some, it was still doing it. Tapped screen to view, pushed crown button to let screen time out and go off, it then quit the ticking altogether. ?

Hi UBFWSS,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! If your Apple Watch is giving haptic feedback unexpectedly, we suggest restarting your device. A restart can fix many issues:

  • "Turn off your Apple Watch: Press and hold the side button until the sliders appear, tap the Power Button, then drag the Power Off slider to the right.
  • Turn on your Apple Watch: Hold down the side button until the Apple logo appears."

-Restart Apple Watch - Apple Support

We also suggest ensuring your software is running the latest version. Outdated software can cause things to misbehave: Update your Apple Watch.

Cheers!
