Remove Adload
MacPaw's Clean MyMac X has detected adware named AdLoad on my MBP running OS 14.0 but can't remove it. Any suggestions about how to remove it?

There is Adware & Malware which will affect the computer and is generally downloaded from “ Shady “ Websites or Developers who Inject this software into the download.
It would also require the User ( you ) to allow the Adware to Bypass the Builtin protection Apple Offers in the Operating System
The Built in Security is all that is required to protect the computer.
It is suggested to download a more trusted application Malwarebytes for Mac to remove the Adware
It is free or paid for added features.
Run the Application and it should remove the malware / adware. Once done, restart computer and test.

What the Application may do to the computer is up to the User to check this out before purchase

This will include CleanMyMac , aka “ BrickMyMac
Read some of the posting and arrive at your own conclusions.
Specific to CleanMyMac aka “ BrickMyMac “
To put the CleanMyMac is context and the damages it may have or has already done.
This application can or will Muck Up your User Account ( Home Folder ) of this machine.
It does not touch the Operating System itself unless you consider your User Account ( Home Folder ) as part of the Operating System
Then in that specific context - it has Mucked Up the Operating System

First....get rid of CleanMyMac according to their instructions. Also any other cleaner/optimizing software.
