Share Sheet Action REMOVAL needed for uninstalled app

Hello all. I wonder if anyone has experience on iOS with a share sheet action hanging around for an app that has already been uninstalled. The app in this instance is Wunderlist and I haven't used the app in years (not defunct). The share sheet action, however, is still there and has followed me from my previous iPhone to my current iPhone. I am running the latest iOS 17 update and cannot find a way to REMOVE this share sheet action for this uninstalled app on iOS 17 nor previous versions of the OS. I want to remove the share sheet action even from the list of "Other actions" that are available to add to the Favorites action list.

I have not attempted a clean install of the OS. I know that this is possible and may likely resolve my issue, but I am hoping that it will not come to that.

Ah... thanks for your help. Yes, the app is definitely uninstalled as the App Store offer to download again.

Here's where I feel more silly... after not having touched/ran this action in multiple years I discovered today following your suggestion to see what happens when I do that it is not a share sheet action from the app but rather... (any guess?)... a deprecated shortcut that I have now deleted and which has solved my problem.

Thanks for your insistence to run it and see what happens. :)

Unlikely. There's just no way a part of an app could be left behind when you remove it since iOS apps are all single packages. The share list is dynamically made based on what Apps exist on the system and add themselves to the action list. When they get deleted, the process removes them form the action list. There is just no feasable way an uninstalled app leaves something of itself behind.

Also, what happens when you tap the option in the share list exactly? Does nothing happen? Does it issue an error? Does it actually open something?

As I mentioned, this app is no longer in development as of several years ago so it's no longer in the App Store.

If so, its clearly still in the App store.

Nowhere to be found on the device with searching, etc.

How have you searched for it exactly?

Again, I really suggest you use the App Library to try to find it.

I guess the real question is, are you certain it has been uninstalled?

Seems to me, like maybe it was just removed from the Home Screen, but never actually uninstalled.

If you go to the App Store and find the App, does it have an "Open" button, or a cloud icon?

If it has an Open button, it means its still installed.
