I lost one of my earbuds. Does this mean I can’t use the other? It does not connect anymore.

Thank you but I’m not looking for the lost earbud. It dropped into the toilet on an airplane. lol. I just want to know if I can use it with just one earbud. It doesn’t seem to connect with Bluetooth any longer.
Hello Dawneo413,
The text below from the resource titled If your AirPods or AirPods Pro won't connect may explain what's happening:
"2) Put both AirPods in the charging case and make sure that both AirPods are charging."
Based on this step from the resource, it does appear you would need both AirPods in order to connect.
Cheers!
