My new iPhone says location services are turned off but they are all turned on. Why is this happening?

Hello gwendolynfrombradenton,

If you're getting a notification that the location services are off, but they're turned on in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, check that page to see if it's app specific. For example, if you're getting a message in Safari that the location services are off. check under Safari in Location Services to make sure the location is enabled for that specific app.

Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the main location services option is turned on as well as the option for all apps but it's still saying the location services are turned off, try a network reset. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or reset iPhone > Reset Network Settings. After that completes, enable the location services then test it out.

You'll also want to make sure you've covered the basics like restarting the device and making sure it's up to date.

Restart your iPhone

Update your iPhone

Cheers!
