is ther a way to upgrade system software for iMac 2013

My iMac id form late 2013. The current system software is MacOS Catalina 10.15.7.

Is is possible to update to a more recent software?

Catalina is the end of the line for a Late 2013 iMac.


There are some applications you can get that may extend its useful life, like the Firefox Web browser, or the LibreOffice office suite, or the (commercial) Affinity Photo V2.


It may be difficult or impossible to get applications from Microsoft or Adobe for that machine given that they have a policy of supporting only the most recent three major versions of macOS.
