Deleting system fonts.

Font Book did not automatically display System Fonts. The user guide did not include that they have to be active in instructions. Tried a sundry of methods to delete them, target disk mode, reinstalling Sonoma, and then some...


To remove system fonts:


Open Font Book / Settings / Sidebar / Activate “System Fonts” by checking box if not

Highlight System Fonts in sidebar

Return to Settings / Advanced / Reset Fonts

Not sure the purpose of your screen shot...


the above help topic article clearly states when resetting:


Any fonts you’ve installed are placed in /Library/Fonts (Removed) or in ~/Library/Fonts (Removed).




Your titled is still miss leading or misguided: "Deleting system fonts."
