Sim card and E-sim
Can I buy a new unlocked iPhone in the United States upon arrival in another country (e.g. Italy) to place a SIM card of that country in it? Will he see her? Does it work on all iPhone models?

iPhone 14 and newer models originally sold in the USA won't have a physical SIM card slot. In addition, you'll likely be denied warranty coverage on any iPhone coming from there outside of it.

Your question is somewhat confusing, but no iPhone currently sold in the US uses a physical SIM Card. So if you buy an iPhone in the US and you need a SIM Card slot, the phone simply won't have one.
As long as the phone is not locked to a carrier in the US, then yes, it will accept a sim card from a carrier in another country.
Not all the countries have eSims or not all carriers of all countries can provide an eSim, some do but not for 'pay as you go' . In my opinion if you are a frequent traveller you should consider buy the iPhone in a country where you can find the version with the physical Sim slot, just a thought
Sorry, I may have misphrased the question, I want to take an already used or new iPhone 13 mini in the United States, and after a while to go abroad, and my question was whether the iPhone purchased in the United States would perceive the physical SIM card of another country, thank you for the answer.
I got it, thank you very much)
You're welcome.
