I bought an iPhone 5 at a swap meet and it was in good condition until I found out it was iCloud locked to the owner I need help 😭

There is nothing that you can do to activate that iPhone except to remove the activation lock. The activation lock can only be removed by entering the credentials of the owner that it is locked to.
