my friend has not blocked my number but i am unable to call them or send texts, and when they try to factime me it tells them this contact is blocked when i am not. why could this be happening?

1. You mentioned that they show a message saying you're blocked on their iPhone when trying to FaceTime you, but you also mentioned they didn't block you. While they may have blocked you unintentionally, have you both made sure on your own iPhone models that you don't have each other blocked by checking in the settings?
