App store not connecting. Wont search

I recently got a replacement phone, 14pro, and good lord is this frustrating. Not only has this been glitchy from the start (hours hanging up on app update, forcing me to restart the data transfer and do it all manually... zzz), but now, the app store wont search and says cannot connect when trying to search for an app.

Between getting my replacement and restoring my old phone this has taken days, what a colossal waste of time. I have tried every suggestions all these websites have for getting your app store to work again and nada.

It works fine on other devices. It's not a local network issue.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 17

To rule out a software issue, set your replacement phone back to factory settings, using your computer.

Then set it up manually as a new device, without using the backup, and see if the AppStore works.

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

If it works again, restore from the latest backup to get all your data and settings back.

In case it does not work, contact Apple Support about having issues with the replacement iPhone.
