iPhone to Hive hub issue

My phone & iPad receive heating temp updates from Hive but remote instructions for them to alter temperature now only work occasionally. I don’t know if this is coincidence but I only started to try to use remote again at end of summer. Shortly before this my Wi-Fi provider changed router and landline to fully fibre. New Wi-Fi code is set up. Hive shows hub, phone & ipad as all connected. I don’t understand why I can check my phone & iPad for accurate Hive info yet only rarely send remote instruction successfully. Doesn’t help that I am a tech dinosaur. I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Hi.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I had eventually thought to delete the Hive app on my phone & iPad. Doing that worked for a little while and now works only occasionally. Strangely, if I physically set the Hive to ‘schedule’ (different temps for different time slots) I can control that remotely. If I set the Hive to monitor where I can change temp at will, temperature change I make on the gadget manually shows on my phone & iPad. It is the consistency of always being able to change it remotely that is missing. Thank you again.

I have kept your suggestions in case of any other future faults with any app.
